LMEX Markets, the multi-asset perpetuals exchange covering cryptocurrencies, forex, US equities, commodities and global indices, today launched on bare-metal infrastructure at LD4, the Equinix-hosted Slough data centre that serves as the canonical low-latency venue for European institutional trading.

The exchange is the first retail-accessible venue to offer perpetual contracts across all five major asset classes on a single cross-margin wallet, settled in USDT, with continuous 24/7 trading and no overnight or weekend gaps. Maximum leverage is 125× on major cryptocurrency perpetuals and up to 500× on forex pairs.

What launches at LD4:

  • A FIX 4.4 gateway over TCP for institutional buy-side, prop firms and brokers, alongside the existing REST and WebSocket APIs.
  • A six-tier VIP fee ladder with automatic tier assignment from 30-day trading volume, ranging from 0.01% maker / 0.06% taker at the General tier down to 0% maker / 0.04% taker at VIP 5.
  • ECN-style forex commission at $5 per side per standard lot (General tier), dropping to $1.50 at VIP 5 — competitive with established ECN forex brokers.
  • Immutable tick-data audit, enabling liquidation enquiries to be resolved with the exact engine-consumed tick stream.

What makes the venue different:

Most exchanges optimise for one asset class. Cryptocurrency venues do not list forex or equities; ECN forex brokers do not list cryptocurrency; multi-asset brokers like Interactive Brokers price each asset class on a different fee model.
